Sign up to march with WCH at the Dyke March this Saturday, June 24

June 19, 2017

Join WCH in celebrating Pride month!

At Women's College Hospital we are proud to be advocates, allies and champions for equity, diversity and inclusion. We embrace the many differences and unique perspectives of our diverse communities. This is what makes our hospital culture so rich and our city a wonderful place to live.

The Pride festival, which used to be a week-long celebration, has become an entire month of marches, parades, parties, cultural exhibits, art installations and dialogues. We are excited to celebrate alongside our friends and colleagues in the LGBTQ community throughout the month of June at Pride 2017!

The Rainbow flag flies outside our main doors all year, and we will show our pride with events across the hospital throughout the month of June.

Early this month, we kicked-off our own Pride celebrations in the WCH lobby. Our Pride ambassadors will also be in the lobby this Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. WCH staff are invited to show their pride and wear their Pride t-shirts to work every Friday in June.

Join our WCH team for the Dyke March on Saturday, June 24. Register here.

This year's route begins at Bloor St. East and Church. The march travels west on Bloor St., south on Yonge St., east on Carlton St. and ends at Allen Gardens. You can view the map here.

WCH marchers will be meeting at 1 p.m. at the corner of Church St. and Hayden St. before the march begins at 2 p.m. WCH march t-shirts will be handed out at this time by our WCH Pride Ambassadors. While only women may march, friends and family are welcome to attend the festivities.

We look forward to celebrating with you and showing Toronto how Women's College Hospital does it with pride!
