Women’s College Hospital staff, physicians, volunteers and students are committed to providing quality patient care. We welcome your feedback about what we are doing well and suggestions about how we can improve the care and services we provide.
The Patient Relations service is available to support patients, their families and visitors to Women’s College Hospital. The Patient Relations staff work with you and your health-care team to assist with any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have regarding your care and service.
We want to respond to patient/family and visitor concerns effectively, at the earliest opportunity.
If you have a compliment or good story about your care, we would appreciate hearing from you at patientrelations@wchospital.ca . Unless you request otherwise, we will do our best to share your comments with the staff and physicians who provided your care and treatment.
If you have a concern or suggestion for improvement, we encourage you to try to resolve the issue by speaking directly with the members of the health care team providing your care and treatment. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, ask to speak with the manager of the clinic or service area.
We understand that some issues and situations are hard to talk about, especially when strong feelings are involved. If you are unable to resolve your concern with the members of the health-care team or manager, please contact the Patient Relations office at patientrelations@wchospital.ca or 416-323-7702. We will acknowledge receipt of your concern within one business day, and help with resolution by facilitating communication between you and the Women’s College Hospital health-care team.
