The General Internal Medicine (GIM) Clinic provides urgent consultation to patients with acute medical problems who are discharged from the Urgent Care Centre.

The clinic also provides short-term followup to patients who have been admitted to the Clinical Decisions Unit in order to facilitate a more timely discharge.

In addition, the clinic provides consultation to family practice for patients with acute medical issues or patients with multiple complex medical problems, and offers ongoing management of patients with complex medical problems.
