Planning for Health Program
Environmental Health Home | How a Referral Works | The Assessment | Patient Programs and Information

Each year, we offer a group coping ideas program to our patients, run by a psychologist, and accompanied by a physician/psychotherapist, with experience in working with people with environmental sensitivities/intolerances, chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis and fibromyalgia

The program is designed to help patients cope with and manage their symptoms better, understand the links between the mind and body, and offer insights on ways to influence recovery. The program provides the opportunity to learn and practice various techniques, including relaxation, visualization and self-hypnosis, as well as providing a supportive environment for patients to interact with each other and share experiences.

The group program is offered once a year, and runs once a week for ten weeks. Parallel to that program is "Personal Planning for Health," a complementary individual counselling program.
