Contribute to the Gift Card Drive for the Association of Volunteers

The Association of Volunteers is asking for donations of unwanted gift cards. Gift cards are cards issued from retailers that have a monetary value - from retail stores, restaurants and services. The Association gathers card donations and sends them to CardSwap - Canada's #1 site to buy and sell gift cards.

How does CardSwap work?

The Association receives cash for slightly under the value of the card. So, for example, if a person donates a $100 gift card, the Association would receive $92 back from CardSwap. Every cent received will go towards the Association of Volunteers one million dollar pledge to Women’s College Hospital's new building. The benefit for the donor is a tax receipt for every card donated worth over $10. It’s an easy way to make a donation to a great cause.

Cards can be dropped off at the Women’s College Hospital Volunteer Office, Gift Shop, or if you do not require a receipt, in the "Pink Donation Cube" in the lobby of the hospital.
