Have you missed out collecting any of the 14 (and counting) Accreditation Q-Tips? On WEDNESDAY, JULY 27 from 11:30am-1:30 pm, a special Accreditation Q-Tip catch-up event will take place in the Atrium. Staff can visit the lobby booth to collect any or all of the printed Accreditation Q-Tips they may have missed along the way. Staff can also participate in a quiz contest for a chance to win prizes, sample some delicious treats, and pick up some swag!
For staff collecting Q-Tips virtually, Quality team members will be on hand to help you find the ones you are looking for. Virtual Q-Tips are embedded in various WCH Connect articles. They can be downloaded (right click the Q-Tip graphic, then click ‘Save As’) or captured in a screen shot to be stored on a personal computer or mobile device.
Stay tuned for news about the annual WCH barbecue in September where staff who have collected all of the Q-Tips will be eligible to win prizes, such as a one-of-a-kind WCH crewneck.
Q-Tips are pocket-sized cards that outline key WCH processes relevant to Accreditation in a short and digestible format. Examples of topics include Emergency Preparedness, Falls Prevention, Ethics, Patient Engagement, Communication Safety Tools, and Incident Reporting.
