Dr. Laura Snell is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in microsurgery and oncologic breast reconstruction, and is currently the Division Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She started her practice at Sunnybrook in 2010 after having completed a fellowship in microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital and a masters degree in biostatistics at Columbia University. Together with her Sunnybrook partner Dr. Joan Lipa, Dr. Snell established the Sunnybrook Breast Reconstruction program at the Louise Temerty Breast Centre in 2011.

Dr. Sophocles Voineskos is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the University of Toronto. He completed fellowship training in Reconstructive Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and has been in practice since 2017. At the St. Joseph’s Hospital Breast Centre, he offers all options for breast reconstruction including autologous reconstruction, alloplastic reconstruction and oncoplastic reconstruction. He is an investigator at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute and his research interests include patient education and using patient-reported outcomes to improve patient satisfaction.
