Applying a multidisciplinary approach, our teams provide innovative, person-centered care for those experiencing mental health challenges. By leveraging new digital health tools and treatment approaches, we aim to provide comprehensive mental healthcare that respects the diverse needs of our community.
Our Mental Health Program is unique in Canada. We focus on the impact of sex and gender on mental health issues. Recognizing that some mental health conditions are specific to, more common in, or are different for people who are born female or who identify as women.
We help women and people who have depression and anxiety associated with menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth and menopause; people of all genders who have psychiatric and psychological issues that result from early life abuse or neglect; and those who have mental health issues associated with medical conditions (such as diabetes or heart disease).
