The 2023 Virtual Hereditary Cancer Webinar Series resumes this September following the summer break. The series of virtual lunchtime seminars are presented by the Women’s College Research Institute with The Peter Gilgan Centre for Women’s Cancers at Women’s College Hospital, in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, and highlight the most relevant advances in hereditary breast and ovarian cancer research over the last several years.
The noon-hour seminars are tailored not only to those with a BRCA1 or BRCA2 genetic mutation but also to their family and friends and healthcare professionals who seek more information on topics related to their positive genetic test results. Speakers include leaders in hereditary breast and ovarian cancer research and treatment, and each session allows attendees to have their questions answered directly by the experts during a live Q&A period.
