1. What does your typical workday look like?

My workday is definitely not typical. Pretty much different one day to the next. I never know how busy it will be or what can happen next. My day, however, consists of checking in patients, taking care of files, answering the phone and direct calls and so many other variants included. Our department is very unique and like no other. It is not your typical patient flow and not one that can be explained easily. 

2. What excites you the most about working at WCH?

I am excited to be at work because of my team. I have the best team to work with. They make me feel included and treat me with kindness and respect. They treat everyone with kindness and respect. I like to help people and I feel that’s what I am doing being part of this unique team. 

3. How does your work contribute to creating a positive patient experience?

I am the first face most of our patients will be meeting either in person or on the phone. Kindness, compassion and caring are everyday life, and I am blessed to have this opportunity to be able to share with our patients. 

4. Tell us one to three things that your colleagues would be surprised to learn about you!

  • I love to go for long walks 
  • Enjoy travelling and,
  • Most off all, I love food
