Healthcare Revolutionized 2018-2022

October 15, 2018

Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to officially launch our new hospital five-year strategic plan, Healthcare Revolutionized 2018-2022. Our strategy outlines our bold vision - to revolutionize healthcare for a healthier more equitable world.

Our strategic process was collaborative. We engaged internal and external stakeholders – more than 600 voices contributed to its development. Now it’s up to all of us to bring our strategy to life and make our vision a reality. I am energized by the foundation we’ve built and the work that has already been done. I am even more excited to work together as we revolutionize health for women, our healthcare system and our patients’ care experience, and continue to be a leader in world-class research, innovation and education.

Women’s College Hospital plays important roles in Ontario, across Canada and around the world. We are a healthcare partner, an academic leader, a system innovator, a capacity builder and an advocate. As we implement our plan, I hope you will each reflect on how you embody all of those roles as well.

I would like to invite you to attend our Town Hall on Thursday, October 4 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium to hear more about Healthcare Revolutionized 2018-2022, celebrate our successes and look ahead to the next exciting era at Women’s College. Please see the attached Town Hall agenda.

Together, we will create 21st century healthcare that advances the health of women, champions health equity and solves the most urgent issues facing our system today.

Sincerely,
Marilyn Emery
President & CEO
