Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon a success

October 26, 2015

On Oct. 18, volunteers, hospital staff, friends and family took part in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K to raise funds for the Association of Volunteers at Women's College Hospital.

They ran, walked and wheeled their way to the finish line to support several WCH programs and initiatives, including:

  • Funding to cover transportation costs for women attending the Women Recovering from Abuse Program (WRAP)
  • Providing support to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence through the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Care Centre
  • WCH research projects focused on health for women, health system solutions, and complex chronic conditions

You can still support these WCH programs and initiatives by sponsoring the fundraisers who ran, walked and wheeled their way to the finish line!

Go to this page, click on a name and sponsor one of our fundraisers.  Any amount of support is greatly appreciated, as it'll help us help WCH!
