Please note that we are currently experiencing a high volume of COVID-19 testing. You may experience longer wait times at our assessment centre if you do not complete
our
online registration form and speak with a physician prior to your arrival.

If you are symptomatic, asymptomatic but concerned about exposure to known or potential cases, or have risk from exposure in line of duty (essential workers, health care workers, etc.), please register for a fast-track assessment by completing our online registration form and a physician from our hospital will call you.

Symptoms:

  • Fever (temperature greater than 37.8° C)
  • New or worsening cough, shortness of breath
  • Sore throat, difficulty swallowing, runny nose / nasal congestion (without other known cause)
  • Headaches
  • Chills
  • New taste disorder, altered sense of smell
  • Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain
  • Unexplained falls, fatigue muscle aches (myalgias) 
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

If you work or reside in a location that has a COVID-19 outbreak, are getting treatment that compromises (weakens) your immune system (for example, chemotherapy, radiation, Hematopoietic Cell Therapy) or have been directed by Public Health or your treating clinician to be tested for COVID-19, please complete our online registration form and a physician from our hospital will call you.

Please note: Children under the age of 2 cannot be seen at the Women’s College Hospital Assessment Centre. Please call Telehealth Ontario (1-866-797-0000) for a full list of available Assessment Centres.

To access the COVID-19 Assessment Centre, please use the North East entrance located on Grosvenor St. 

Hours of Service for COVID-19 Assessment Centre:
7 days a week 
9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 

Test Results
Once you visit the Assessment Centre, you can check your results online within 48-72 hours (depending on volume, this may vary) if you are registered with My Health Record or at:
https://covid-19.ontario.ca.
