As 2021 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to extend my sincere gratitude and best wishes to everyone at Women’s College Hospital.
This past year has continued to test us all professionally and personally. While the pandemic highlighted some of the greatest healthcare needs in our community, it also shone a light on the untold depths of compassion, courage and drive to respond to one of the most challenging times of a generation.
Guided by an unwavering commitment to provide exceptional care while keeping our patients, community and each other safe, everyone across Women’s College Hospital has responded to the everchanging needs of the healthcare system with resolve and determination. From providing hundreds of thousands of vaccines and tests, to leading research and innovating care pathways to guide us into the future, teams across Women’s College Hospital have continually demonstrated our vision of providing equitable care for a healthier world.
While we continue to face difficult days ahead, I have the utmost confidence that the incredible people here at Women’s College Hospital will see us through. We are tremendously thankful for all they have done – and continue to do – for our patients. We know everyone at Women’s makes many sacrifices every day and we are enormously grateful.
I do hope you have a chance to enjoy some time with your loved ones. I wish you and your families a peaceful season and may 2022 be filled with moments of joy.
