Dr. David W. Lim, MDCM MEd PhD FRCSC has been awarded a 2022 SABCS AACR Scholar-in-Training Award to attend the 2022 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) where he will present “Population-based survival outcomes of pure vs mixed invasive lobular breast cancer in Ontario, Canada”.
Using population-based health and administrative datasets at ICES Ontario, Dr. Lim compared incidence and survival rates between pure invasive lobular breast cancer and mixed invasive ductal-lobular breast cancer and determined predictors of survival.
Scholar-in-Training Awards are sponsored by the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) to support the education and training of early career scientists (Associate Members of the AACR) for their meritorious abstracts at SABCS.
