All media requests for Women’s College Hospital (WCH) are co-ordinated through our Strategic Communications team. Members of the media interested in interviewing a physician, researcher, staff member or patient, or filming/photographing on site, must contact Strategic Communications and a representative from the team must accompany any member of the media when at WCH.
WCH media policy:
WCH is committed to the privacy of our staff, clinicians and patients and their personal health information. The Strategic Communications team will not share details on a patient’s condition without their consent or the consent of a substitute decision-maker.
Informed consent must be obtained for all interviews, filming or photo opportunities involving WCH patients, staff and clinicians.
