  1. What does your typical work day look like?
My typical work day will include meetings with my own team members to discuss challenges with supporting research studies. Challenges can arise from research contracts, budgeting/finance, REDCap support, facilities, and various other operational items related to conducting research. Often, addressing these challenges will also include meetings with our research teams and internal stakeholders.
  1. What excites you the most about working at WCH?
There is a lot of excitement in Academics with various new initiatives being launched, which I’m thrilled to be a part of. I see that Women’s College Hospital is uniquely positioned among TAHSN community with its potential to scale while maintaining focus on specific key areas of research.
  1. How does your work contribute to creating a positive patient experience?
Our team strives to ensure that research studies can run well operationally with high quality, which helps ensure that research participants can have a positive experience.

Research may be considered more upstream in some ways than clinical operations, but I do strongly believe that all areas of research that we support ultimately improve health knowledge, which in turn helps create a positive patient experience.
  1. Tell us one (or three) thing(s) that your colleagues would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m a photography nerd with interest in the art, gear and technology. I’m still a fan of film photography, although my schedule currently doesn’t really allow me to photograph much other than my own family!
