WCH has completed installation of 20 new Level 2 EV Chargers on P1, P2 & P3. These chargers are available to staff, patients and visitors and are far more reliable than the units previously installed.
To cover the operational costs including software and electricity, users will be charged 0.23 per kWh to charge a vehicle which equates to about $1.50 per hour. This fee is the breakeven point for WCH to maintain and operate the new EV Chargers and is in line with industry standard for public charging sessions.
We ask that only electric vehicles park in the EV charging spots which are clearly marked with green paint and signage. To ensure that EV charging stations are readily available we ask that once your car is charged that you relocate your vehicle to a non-EV spot in the parking garage. Once your vehicle is charged you will receive a push notification to the App on your phone and a grace period of one hour will be provided to relocate your vehicle. If your vehicle is not relocated within the hour, then an idle fee of $5 per hour to a maximum of $30 will be applied.
To start a session, users must scan the QR code on the front of the stations and follow the prompts in the App. For more information on charging your vehicle please refer to the App User Manual.
