Today marks Employee Appreciation Day, an important time to recognize and celebrate #TeamWCH. On this day – and every day – I am reminded that we are incredibly fortunate to have so many dedicated and passionate people here at Women’s College Hospital.
People are the heart and soul of Women’s and I firmly believe we have some of the best, brightest and most caring people who are committed to making a meaningful difference. The unique and diverse contributions that each of you brings is what makes Women’s the best place to practice, work, learn and teach.
Through the many challenges we faced over the past two years, both personally and professionally, not only did #TeamWCH persevere, but we emerged stronger than ever. Every day your work has helped support and uphold our hospital’s values of equity, quality, people, courage and collaboration. Across every role, you are helping to revolutionizing healthcare for a healthier and more equitable world.
As I reflect on this day and the many extraordinary accomplishments of #TeamWCH, what strikes me the most is your compassion. Your compassion for our patients, our community members and for each other – and I think this is one of the things that sets Women’s College Hospital apart.
