WCH hosted our 2023 Team BBQ and it was nothing short of fantastic and fun. Hundreds of staff, physicians, researchers and volunteers gathered for a delicious meal, games, swag and a group celebration of #TeamWCH.
This year we played Jenga, Washer Toss and peer pong combined with trivia for a chance to win loot bags and sweet treats. Staff picked up new polos, cooled down with ice cream cones, pet the dogs from Sunshine Therapy Dogs and had quite a show from the fierce Tynomi Banks. As the annual Team BBQ coincided with Pride Month, our Pride committee was loud and proud with their booth and interactive activation where staff could write down who inspires them and what they hope for the future of 2SLGBTQ+ health. The EVS staff enjoyed an ice cream truck, games and a Nando’s dinner!
The Team BBQ was a great success and staff were all smiles getting to enjoy each other’s company. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate #TeamWCH with us!
