After much anticipation, WCH hosted another successful Team BBQ to wrap up the summer! Hundreds of staff, physicians, researchers and volunteers came out to the event to celebrate #TeamWCH and share in the food and activities.
This year’s BBQ included many different activities, including an Accreditation Fair, where staff and physicians could collect their Q-Tips, learn about Accreditation requirements and test their knowledge while playing games like giant Jenga and a prize wheel. There was also a floral wall photobooth installation where #TeamWCH showed their pride for the hospital and took some Intagram-worthy photos! Other activities at the BBQ included a bean-bag toss at our Strategy booth and some amazing teams of therapy dogs from St. John’s Ambulance.
The annual Team BBQ also coincided with Environmental Services Week. To recognize and celebrate our hardworking EVS staff, we hosted a gratitude booth where their colleagues from across the organization could share messages of appreciation and gratitude.
WCH’s 2022 Annual Team BBQ was a huge success and staff had an amazing time rounding out the summer with each other, enjoying amazing food, fun games and furry friends! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate #TeamWCH with us!
