Stella’s Playroom is a supervised, short stay “play zone” for children. This is a space for kids to have fun and hang out with a Registered Early Child Educator (RECE) while their parents or guardians are at their appointments!
How does it work? These are the ABCs of Stella’s Playroom:
Apply for a spot
Start by booking a spot for your child(ren) by calling 416-323-6400 x 3029. This free service can be booked for up to 2 hours. Though space is limited, those who haven’t booked in advance are welcome to drop in and see if there are any spots available!
Bring your kids
Location: When you arrive at 76 Grenville Street, head up to level 7 and go to room 7248 – there, a Kid’s & Company’s RECE will be happy to help!
Hours: Tuesday and Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To ensure parents or guardians are always near, Stella’s Playroom is only available to those with appointments in the main hospital building (76 Grenville Street).
Care you can count on
The space is designed for fun! The service is operated by a Kids & Company Registered Early Childhood Educator and offers developmentally and age-appropriate activities.
